Occupational Therapy – OT

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists working on our team are highly qualified and experienced individuals that can provide assessments and therapy to children on a multi-disciplinary programme, or to children that only require Occupational Therapy. We have a very large Occupational Therapy room, with plenty of natural day light with a broad selection of internationally sourced equipment.

The aim of Occupational Therapy is to help children with delays to achieve maximum independence in their daily lives, we work on play skills, fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, functional independent life skills such as dressing and grooming and Sensory Integration.

Standardised and non-standardised assessments are carried out by the Occupational Therapist, and meetings and questionnaires are completed with the parents. Functional and measurable goals are put into place, and on-going evaluations and assessments monitor progress and track goals.
